Feature Friday: Ameristar M4AC

The end of summer is an excellent time to upgrade your air conditioning in Edmonton. You’ll get to enjoy a cooler home for the rest of the summer, skip the wait for installation ahead of next summer and have confidence going into 2018 that you can cool off whenever you want to.

The Ameristar M4AC is a great option if you’re considering residential air conditioning installation. It is economical, efficient and powerful enough to make your home comfortable in even on the most sweltering summer day.

Here’s some more information on the Ameristar M4AC, our Feature Friday equipment this week.

Ameristar Air Conditioner

Ameristar Heating and Cooling is a brand of Ingersoll Rand, an international industrial company. Ameristar air conditioners have an office in Canada in Mississauga. Ameristar manufactures air conditioners that are capable of keeping your home cool and are equipped with all essential features without breaking the bank.

Ameristar M4AC Features

The Ameristar M4AC has two possible warranties to ensure your unit stays in working condition. There is the 5-year limited parts warranty or the more comprehensive 10-year registered limited parts warrants. The M4AC is a quiet unit and compact, perfect for those with precious yard space they don’t want to hand over to a large AC unit. The steel cabinet is durable and rust-resistant, ensuring these units remain in excellent working condition for a long time.

Ameristar units feature scroll compressors that require fewer moving parts, meaning they are less likely to need costly repairs. They also operate very smoothly due to featuring scroll compressors.

Ameristar M4AC Technical Specifications

The M4AC features 13 to 14 SEER efficiency. SEER is the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ration and measures how efficiently an AC unit cools homes in the summer. The higher the SEER, the less energy needed.

The M4AC units use R410A Refrigerant, vary in dimension from 24.94”x28”x28” to 33.19”x29.13”x29.13”. Each has a sound rating between 74 and 76, indicating that these units are not very loud and should not present too much auditory disturbance, even if placed underneath a window.
